December Online Info Session

December 11: Decarbonize Your Home! Join Us for a Virtual Kicking Gas Info Session

Save Money and Make the Switch to Electric Heating and Cooling in your Home!

Learn about the Kicking Gas campaign and how you can be part of the transition from fossil fuels to electric!

The Kicking Gas Campaign is on a mission to support our community members in taking the next step to transition to All Electric Homes. In addition to sharing resources about ductless heat pumps, we will be providing subsidies for electric cooking (as well as hot water heating as of late-2024), to further help decarbonize our region, avoid the serious health dangers of indoor fossil fuel combustion, and strengthen community in the face of climate challenges today and in the future.

Right now we are operating on Bainbridge Island, Island County, and Snohomish County.

A quick overview of our current programs:

Bainbridge Island: Heat Pump Subsidy Program (50-100% subsidy available)

Island and Snohomish Counties: Heat Pump Subsidy Program (20 - 75% subsidy available), and Induction Stove Subsidy Program.

Attending an Info Session is a requirement to qualify for one of our subsidies.

We’re excited to help you make the switch to clean, comfortable, healthy and affordable electric home heating and appliances! If you are currently using propane, oil, “natural” gas, or wood and live in Snohomish County or Whidbey Island, you’re eligible for our program! Not only can we offer 20-100% savings off the total project cost depending on your income and location, but we’ll work with you every step of the way to make sure you have the support and resources you need.

This event is digitally family-friendly. Feel free to spread the word to friends and family!

Zoom registration link will be sent to your email when you sign up below. Please register for the zoom itself with the same name and email address so we can confirm you completed the information session requirement.
