April Newsletter
Happy Earth Day! We hope that you were able to get outside today and enjoy the sunshine.
A lot happened at Kicking Gas this last week.
On Monday the 15th, Kicking Gas met with the City of Langley to talk about how we can possibly collaborate on decarbonization efforts.
Then, on Tuesday the 16th, we met with Partners of Kicking Gas at Taproom@Bayview Corner to connect and talk about all that has happened this year, and goals that we have moving forward. After the Partner Reception, we hosted the Solarize Island County Workshop event in the Front Room at Bayview Corner. Ben Silesky, from Olympia Community Solar, presented on the campaign and, in combination with installers who attended, answered questions from the 35 community members who were there. The event was relaxed and cozy, and we really enjoyed the opportunity to connect as a community.
